ABOUT
"Most people are far more capable than they realise. My job is to show them what their body can actually do."
MISSION
Adams’ mission is to treat not just symptoms, but the whole individual. He aims to uncover the deeper patterns behind pain and dysfunction, restoring balanced movement and functional strength so every patient can return to life feeling capable, confident, and in control of their body.
After nearly 20 years as a physiotherapist, Adam has refined the art of understanding what truly creates lasting, meaningful change in the body. His approach is grounded in depth—both in assessment and treatment. Adam chooses to offer longer consultation times so he can work thoroughly, teach effectively, and ensure every patient receives the level of care needed for genuine, sustainable results.
Adam is well-versed across all aspects of physiotherapy and welcomes all presentations, from acute injuries to chronic pain. But his true expertise lies in helping people who feel stuck—those with complex, unresolved issues, movement dysfunction, or persistent niggles that no one has been able to solve. His strengths in pattern recognition, problem-solving, and big-picture reasoning allow him to identify what others may have missed and create a clear, actionable plan forward.
Across almost two decades of clinical practice, Adam has cultivated a diagnostic style that sees beyond symptoms. He looks at how the whole system interacts—posture, movement mechanics, load tolerance, lifestyle, and habitual patterns—and uses this to guide precise, tailored treatment. Patients often describe his process as “finally making sense of everything.”
Adam also brings empathy to his practice. Having been a patient himself, he understands what it feels like to be frustrated, limited, or unsure where to turn next. This lived experience shapes his care: collaborative, respectful, and genuinely invested.
Beyond the clinic, Adam is a passionate Functional Patterns practitioner, incorporating biomechanical principles into his strength and movement training. You’ll often find him doing sprint work on the AirRunner, experimenting with movement drills, or studying human biomechanics for fun. He’s also a creative at heart—a lover of art and design, spending many an hour making things with his hands. His care goes beyond the human in his love for his dog Barney the Boxer.
At his Northcote clinic, Adam offers not just physiotherapy, but a space where people learn what they are truly capable of—physically, functionally, and long-term.
